Srinagar: The Indian Army effectively countered an unprovoked small arms firing by the Pakistan Army along the Line of Control (LOC) during the night of April 27-28. The firing occurred in areas opposite Kupwara and Poonch districts in Jammu and Kashmir (J-K), according to Indian military officials.
