IG BSF Kashmir inaugurated medical camp and pre-recruitment training to local youths conducted by 140 battalion BSF in Machhal sector

Srinagar: The 140 battalion of the Border Security Force, (BSF) Kupwara on Wednesday commenced a four-week pre-recruitment training to local unemployed youths of Machhal sector under civic action programme. The 140 battalion of the BSF also organised a medical camp in the forward remote location, village T-shunt.

Raja Babu Singh, IPS, IG BSF Frontier Headquarter (Ftr HQr) Kashmir inaugurated both the functions in presence of Ashok Yadav, IPS (incoming IG BSF Kashmir Ftr), Subhash Chandra DIG Kashmir Ftr, A K Chakraborty, DIG Operation BSF Kashmir Ftr, A K Vidyarthi DIG BSF Kupwara, and Brigadier (Retd) Manish Datt Upadhyay (new DIG BSF Kupwara).

During this programme chief guest distributed books on competitive exams, stationeries and other equipment to local youths of the border area and organised a medical camp in which a team of BSF medical officers & Specialist civil doctors including a lady doctor did free check-ups and distributed medicines to the local patients. 

Raja Babu Singh IPS, IG BSF chief guest addressed to local youths and told them about the importance of education and health in our life.

The program was conducted in a successful manner by the team of 140 Battalion BSF under supervision of Devender Kumar, commandant of the 140 battalion BSF.
