Dahod: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on the 10th anniversary of his first oath as the country’s leader, launched a scathing message against terrorism while hailing the power of women and India’s developmental progress during a rally in Dahod, Gujarat.

Addressing a spirited crowd after inaugurating and laying the foundation stones of various infrastructure projects worth over ₹24,000 crore, PM Modi paid tribute to “Nari Shakti” and sent a strong message to those threatening India’s security.

“What terrorists did in Jammu & Kashmir, will India, will Modi sit quietly? If anyone tries to wipe off the Sindoor of our sisters, it becomes important to finish them,” the Prime Minister said, referring to the recent attack in Pahalgam. “Operation Sindoor is not just a military action, but the expression of our emotions. Terrorists may have never imagined in their dreams how difficult it is to confront Modi,” he added.

He noted the enthusiastic participation of women at public rallies. “I was in Vadodara before coming here, where thousands of mothers and sisters had come—not to protest, but to celebrate the bravery of our armed forces. Here too, you all are giving your blessings to Operation Sindoor by waving the Tiranga,” he said.

PM Modi also used the occasion to reflect on his decade-long tenure, reminding the audience that it was on May 26, 2014, that he took oath as the Prime Minister for the first time. “Today marks ten years since I first took oath as PM. With your blessings, I have dedicated day and night to serving the people of this nation,” he said.

The Prime Minister asserted that India has broken free from “decades-old chains” and moved from despair to confidence. “The country has progressed in every sector. We are no longer defined by darkness but by the bright light of hope and confidence. Today, 140 crore Indians are united in their mission to make India a developed nation,” PM Modi declared.
