Hina Khan Praises AGS Boniyar’s Education Model, Hails Students’ Achievements

Actress Hina Khan praised Army Goodwill School (AGS) Boniyar for its academic environment, infrastructure and efforts to develop confident and ambitious students during her visit to the school in Uri.

Khan interacted with students and teachers during her visit and said she had been to several educational institutions but found AGS Boniyar to be “one of the best.” She particularly praised the confidence, intelligence and clarity displayed by the students regarding their future goals.

Highlighting the students’ academic achievements, Khan noted that several students had qualified for NEET, while others were preparing to pursue engineering and other professional careers. “They are very clear with what they want in life,” she said.

The actress also appreciated the commitment of the teaching staff, the facilities available at the school and its subsidised education model. She said such initiatives are particularly important for children living in remote areas and credited the defence establishment for supporting educational institutions of this kind.

Khan further suggested that similar schools could be established in major cities to provide students with quality education and opportunities.

Hina Khan Impressed By Students’ Long Association With School

One aspect of AGS Boniyar that particularly caught Khan’s attention was the students’ long association with the institution. She was told that nearly 99 per cent of the students she interacted with had joined the school in nursery and continued their education through Classes 9 and 10.

Reflecting on the students’ continued association with the school, Khan remarked, “When you don’t leave your school, understand that the school must be very good.”

She said the students’ self-confidence, determination and ambition were among the most inspiring aspects of her visit.

Khan’s interaction with the students created excitement on the school campus, with her words of appreciation encouraging the young students to remain focused on their education and future ambitions.
