Srinagar: On Friday morning, a walkathon and a bike rally were organised by SHQ Border Security Force (BSF) Kupwara, 140 Battalion & 57 Battalion BSF under leadership of A K Vidyarthi, DIG BSF, SHQ Kupwara from JIC Kupwara to Bus stand Kupwara and back.
On the occasion of ‘Har Ghar Jhanda, Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’, In which 12 Officers, 30 SOs, 100 ORs and local school children participated with 34 motorcycles.
The rallies were spectacular with fluttering tricolours all around. At the culmination the local population cheered the participants enroute.
