Following its successful theatrical run, ‘Hanuman’ has garnered a strong response on OTT platforms, maintaining its dominance even in the digital space. Now, the movie is poised for yet another milestone as it gears up for release on another prominent OTT platform.

Initially released in Hindi on Jio Cinemas, where it garnered millions of views, the Telugu version of the film was subsequently launched on Zee 5 OTT, catering to a wider audience base. Encouraged by the demand across languages, the producers have decided to release ‘Hanuman’ in Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada as well, anticipating a similar fervor among regional audiences.

The anticipation surrounding the film’s release on Disney Plus Hotstar has been palpable, with the OTT platform recently confirming the news through a social media post. Scheduled for release on April 5, ‘Hanuman’ is expected to captivate viewers once again with its compelling narrative and impressive performances.

At the box office, ‘Hanuman’ soared to remarkable heights, grossing a staggering Rs 52.08 crore in Hindi alone, contributing to a total collection of Rs 200.32 crore. Such resounding success has paved the way for a sequel, indicative of the film’s enduring popularity and impact.

In addition to ‘Hanuman,’ other southern films like Mahesh Babu’s ‘Guntur Karam,’ Dhanush’s ‘Captain Miller,’ Sivakarthikeya’s ‘Ayalan,’ and Vijay Sethupathi’s ‘Merry Christmas’ were also released during the same period. However, ‘Hanuman’ has emerged as the reigning champion, emerging as the highest-grossing film of 2024 thus far, surpassing its contemporaries with ease.
