The recent tussle between Chandrakant Khaire and Ambadas Danve within the Thackeray group in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar appears to be nearing resolution. Amidst speculations over their inclusion in the Lok Sabha Election Candidates List, Danve has emphasized his commitment to the party’s decisions, irrespective of personal nominations.

Danve’s reassurance comes as a significant development, signaling a potential end to the Khaire-Danve controversy. Both leaders, vying for the Lok Sabha ticket from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, had engaged in public criticisms of each other. However, with Danve’s statement to support the chosen candidate, the rift seems to be closing.

The internal strife prompted direct interventions from party leaders to mediate the dispute between Khaire and Danve. Now, with Danve’s pledge to work for the nominated candidate, there is optimism about restoring harmony within the party ranks.

Amidst the political dynamics, speculation arose regarding Danve’s potential alignment with the Shinde group. However, Danve reaffirmed his allegiance to Thackeray’s Shiv Sena, dismissing rumors of defection. He attributed the challenges faced by rival groups to their failure in securing suitable candidates, labeling it as a setback for the BJP.

Regarding Manoj Jarang’s recent meeting, where decisions about independent candidates were discussed, Danve commented on the unpredictable nature of political alliances. He asserted that the impact of Jarang’s role would depend on various factors, including the candidates’ stance.

Addressing the longstanding issue of Dhangar reservation, Danve criticized the unfulfilled promises made by past leaders, including Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Devendra Fadnavis. Despite assurances, the pledge to grant Dhangar reservation remains unresolved, reflecting on the BJP’s shortcomings.
