According to a report by News18, Taapsee and Mathias sealed their love in an intimate ceremony on March 23, surrounded by their closest friends and family members. The pre-wedding festivities commenced on March 20, setting the stage for a joyous celebration of their union.
Among the attendees were familiar faces from the entertainment industry, including Taapsee’s Manmarziyaan director Anurag Kashyap and Thappad co-star Pavail Gulati. Taapsee and Mathias’s love story began in 2013, and over the past 11 years, they have built a strong bond despite the geographical distance between them. Mathias, a former Danish badminton champion, retired from professional play in 2020 and now serves as the men’s doubles coach for the Indian national badminton team.
