Srinagar: The Handwara police, in collaboration with the Social Welfare Department, organized a legal awareness camp at PALAASH Handwara as part of its ongoing awareness campaign on newly enacted criminal laws.
The event was presided over by the Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Handwara and saw active participation from students and staff. The primary focus of the camp was to educate attendees on three recently introduced laws: BNSS, BNS, and BSA. The initiative aimed to enhance public understanding of these laws, empowering the community with knowledge of their legal rights and responsibilities.
The session was made highly engaging and interactive through the use of audio-visual learning tools, ensuring that the participants remained captivated and informed. The effort was widely appreciated by the attendees, who commended the Handwara Police and the Social Welfare Department for organizing such an impactful program.
