GST Department Extends GSTR-3B Filing Deadline for July 2025 to August 27 in Maharashtra Flood-Hit Districts

Mumbai: In a major relief for businesses, the GST Department has extended the GSTR-3B filing deadline for July 2025 to August 27, 2025. The extension applies to taxpayers in Mumbai City, Mumbai Suburban, Thane, Raigad, and Palghar, where heavy rains have disrupted daily life and business activities.

The Federation of Associations of Maharashtra (FAM) thanked the GST authorities for their swift response. FAM President Jitendra Shah said the decision would ease pressure on traders and taxpayers affected by the floods.

“This timely and sensitive move shows the government’s commitment to supporting the business community during natural disruptions,” Shah added.
