Ghaziabad: A shocking incident of police brutality has surfaced in Ghaziabad, where a police officer allegedly assaulted the driver of a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) councillor on Sunday night. The incident reportedly took place in the Patel Nagar area and was captured on video, which has since gone viral on social media.
According to BJP councillor Sheetal Chaudhary, her driver, Ashish Sharma, was beaten by the police station in-charge at around 10 PM on Sunday. The video shows the officer arriving on a bike with a constable, entering Sharma’s workplace, and engaging in a heated argument before slapping and pushing him.

Chaudhary has condemned the incident and stated that she will file a formal complaint against the officer at the Sihani Gate police station. However, the reason behind the alleged assault remains unclear.
