Srinagar: Director of Jan Shikshan Sansthan (JSS) along with the team of field officers conducted a meeting with pass out beneficiaries of various trades of Lolab and Kalaroos area, more than 300 skill Self Help Groups (SHGs) beneficiaries attended the programme. The main agenda of the program was to establish production units in the area.
Such production centres will provide livelihood and earning opportunities to hundreds of the families. This is one of the unique initiatives started by JSS Kupwara in collaboration with various agencies to make the dream of livelihood true and mature.
Selection in production units will be on the basis of certification and Self-Help Groups. Initially JSS Kupwara in collaboration with different agencies started four main production centres in the district. JSS Kupwara also thanked panchayat block Wavoora and National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM) Kalaroos for their support.
