Mumbai: In a major security breach at one of Mumbai’s most high-profile addresses, a 23-year-old man from Chhattisgarh was caught trespassing into Galaxy Apartment in Bandra, the residence of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. The incident has raised serious concerns about the safety protocols in place, especially since the actor has been under Y+ category security due to recent threats.

The accused, identified as Jitendra Kumar Singh, was first seen loitering near the building on May 20 around 7:15 PM. Earlier that day, Singh had reportedly tried to gain access to the premises but was warned off by security personnel. Instead of backing off, he got into a heated argument with the guards and allegedly smashed his own mobile phone in frustration.

Unfazed, Singh returned later in the evening and managed to enter the apartment complex in a vehicle owned by another resident. However, his movements once again attracted the attention of security staff, who promptly detained him and handed him over to Bandra Police.

According to police officials, Singh claimed that he was desperate to meet Salman Khan in person.

“The police were not letting me meet him so I was trying to hide,” he told the officers during initial questioning.

A formal FIR has been registered against him for trespassing, and investigations are ongoing to determine whether there was any deeper motive behind his actions or if he acted alone.
