Delhi Blast: BJP MP Praveen Khandelwal Meets Victims, Assures Justice as Death Toll Rises to 12

New Delhi: Following the deadly explosion near the Red Fort Metro Station that shook the capital on Monday evening, BJP MP from Chandni Chowk, Praveen Khandelwal, visited Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan (LNJP) Hospital on Tuesday to meet the injured and their families. The tragic incident has claimed 12 lives so far, leaving over 20 injured and several vehicles reduced to wreckage.

After meeting the victims, Khandelwal expressed confidence in the ongoing relief efforts. “I have personally met almost all the injured, and everyone said that their treatment is being carried out properly. I extend my heartfelt condolences to the families who have lost their loved ones and pray for the speedy recovery of those under treatment,” he said.

He further stated that the Home Ministry is closely monitoring the situation. “Union Home Minister Amit Shah is keeping a constant watch. The investigation is progressing swiftly, and those responsible for this heinous act will face the harshest punishment,” Khandelwal added.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing an event in Thimphu, Bhutan, vowed that the perpetrators behind the Delhi car blast will not escape justice. “Those behind this cowardly act will be brought to justice,” the Prime Minister declared.
