New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Delhi Cabinet Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj on Tuesday, November 11, visited Lok Nayak Jai Prakash (LNJP) Hospital along with senior party colleagues to meet those injured in the Red Fort car blast that shook the national capital a day earlier.

Addressing reporters outside the hospital, Bhardwaj launched a scathing attack on the Modi government, accusing it of negligence and lack of empathy toward the victims. “When lives are lost, the government restricts itself to offering condolences on social media. Not a single ambulance was provided to the victims after the explosion,” he alleged.

Bhardwaj further questioned the Centre’s priorities, remarking that the government was more concerned about foreign affairs than its own citizens. “This government can send ambulances to the Taliban but cannot provide basic emergency services to Delhi’s injured citizens. Families of the victims were left to fend for themselves,” he said.

Taking aim at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Bhardwaj said the Prime Minister’s absence from the country at such a critical time reflected poorly on his leadership. “The Prime Minister often declares that any terror attack on India will be treated as an act of war. Yet, when an attack happens in the heart of Delhi, he is abroad. The nation expects him to stand with its people during such tragedies,” the AAP leader added.
