New Delhi: The government has announced a revision in the Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (DR), increasing them from 55% to 58% of basic pay.
According to an official statement, the hike will be effective from July 1, 2025, and the additional amount will be disbursed in cash starting October 2025.
This revision is expected to provide financial relief to government employees and pensioners, helping them manage inflationary pressures and rising living costs.
