New Delhi: Congress leader Pawan Khera has welcomed the government’s decision to call an all-party meeting today to discuss the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir, which claimed the lives of 26 innocent civilians. Khera emphasized the gravity of the situation, stating that the attack directly challenges the unity, security, and integrity of the nation.

In his remarks, Khera said, “Accepting Congress’s demand to call an all-party meeting, the government has called an all-party meeting today. We hope that Prime Minister Modi will attend this meeting, considering the seriousness of the matter. This is a direct attack on the unity, security, and integrity of this country; all aspects of this serious attack will be discussed in the CWC meeting. The important thing today is that the whole country is expecting justice for these unarmed tourists.”

Khera’s statement comes at a time when the country is grappling with the aftermath of the devastating attack that has left families shattered and the nation in mourning. The Congress party has called for a thorough discussion of the issue, urging the government to take immediate and decisive action to ensure that justice is served.
