Patna: Former Bihar Deputy CM and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has launched a blistering attack on Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, accusing him of presiding over a total collapse of law and order in the state.

“You all must have observed that criminals have become uncontrollable, and they are not just active at night,” Yadav said, citing alarming incidents of bomb blasts in major stores like Tanishq, repeated ₹25 crore robberies, and rising crimes across districts.

Highlighting growing insecurity in Bihar, he pointed out that bombs have been planted in schools in Bhojpur and Hajipur. “Not a single day passes without more than 200 bullets being fired in Bihar,” he added.

A particularly shocking case, Yadav claimed, occurred in CM Nitish Kumar’s home district of Nalanda, where a girl was tortured, had nails driven into her feet, and was thrown into the fields. “The government is silent, acting as a mute spectator,” he lashed out.

Accusing the state government of shielding criminals, Yadav claimed that many have been released under Nitish Kumar’s rule, with laws even being altered to protect them. He also raised concerns over jail torture, stating that multiple inmates have died due to brutal treatment, yet the government has taken no action.
