Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput ends life leaves behind mystery and speculations for his fans and family

Mumbai Police is investigating the case. Actors close associates from Bollywood claim that he was under depression, however his cousin from Patna says that he had plans for marriage by the year end. 

Mumbai: The year 2020 has thrown up lots of unpleasant and undesirable situations. This Sunday afternoon brought shocking news from the Hindi film industry,  Sushant Singh Rajput  noted Bollywood actor and television star was found hanging at his Bandra residence. It may be recalled that on June 9, Sushant’s co-manager had also committed suicide by jumping off the building.

Sushant 34, stayed in a plush apartment, Mount Blanc in Carter Road at Bandra West. Sprawled in 3600 Sq. Ft area Sushant had paid a deposit of Rs.12.90 lakh and was paying rent Rs. 4.74 lakh per month for the same. Sushant was included by Niti Aayog to promote the Women Entrepreneurship and he was actively involved in various programs like Sushant4Education.

According to Mumbai Police sources , his servant informed police about the incident. After that a forensic team had visited the scene of the incident to collect evidence.

Ironically, the actor, Sushant’ s recent movie Chhichore, was a massive hit film and he played a role of a father who motivates his son after his son fails and  tries committing suicide. However, according to report  the actor was in depression and was under medication for the same.

“The investigation has just begun . We are scanning all his electronic devices and also mobile phone. We will speak with family and doctors also what had caused him depression,” said an official from Mumbai Police.

Ashok Pandit , the film personality said, ” In a spur of moment, the negativity might have gripped him , leading to take such a drastic step. He was on medication from last six months. He had tried reaching out to some friend last night, I think he wanted to be vocal with the person. The industry has lost gem of an actor and indeed a good human being. “

Pranaya Ashok Deputy Commissioner of Police and Spokesperson from Mumbai Police said, ” Sushant Singh Rajput has committed suicide today . Mumbai Police is investigating however police did not find any suicide note from his flat.”

Sushant’s cousin Panna Kumar Singh told media that the actor Sushant had plans of getting married by the end of this year. He also told that although they were told about the marriage by the actor himself, but he had not disclosed the identity of the girl .

“Sushant Singh’s body was brought in Cooper Hospital around 3.30 PM and he was declared dead at around 4PM by doctors and his postmortem will be completed late night, ” said authorities from Cooper Hospital .
