New Delhi: In an effort to ensure that underprivileged Muslim families across India can celebrate Eid without any hardships, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Minority Morcha has unveiled its “Saugat-e-Modi” campaign. Set to begin on Tuesday at Nizamuddin in Delhi under the leadership of BJP National President JP Nadda, this initiative aims to distribute special kits to 32 lakh underprivileged Muslims nationwide.
Jamal Siddiqui, the National President of the BJP Minority Morcha, shared the campaign’s broader vision, stating that it is designed to reach out to Muslims during Ramadan and the upcoming festivals of Eid, Good Friday, Easter, Nauruz, and the Indian New Year. The Minority Morcha will distribute kits and organize Eid Milan celebrations at the district level to bring cheer to those in need.
The campaign will be supported by 32,000 BJP Minority Morcha workers who will collaborate with 32,000 mosques across the country to ensure the distribution of these kits reaches the most vulnerable communities.
Yasir Zilani, the National Media Charge of the BJP Minority Morcha, elaborated on the significance of the campaign, emphasizing that “Saugat-e-Modi” is not just about distributing welfare kits but also about promoting various BJP welfare schemes and building political support for the party and the NDA.
The kits, which are valued at approximately ₹500 to ₹600 each, will include food items like vermicelli, dates, dry fruits, and sugar, as well as clothes. Women’s kits will contain fabric for suits, while men’s kits will include kurta-pyjamas, ensuring that recipients have the essentials needed to celebrate the festival in dignity.
