BJP leader Javid Qureshi visits Bhadrakali Mandir on Ram Navami eve, meets displaced Kashmiri Pandits

Srinagar: Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Javid Qureshi, along with his team, visited the Bhadrakali Mandir on Sunday on the eve of Ram Navami. During the visit, Qureshi met with several Kashmiri Pandits who had migrated from Kashmir nearly two to three decades ago due to unrest in the region.

Speaking to the media, Qureshi expressed his joy at reconnecting with the displaced community. “We are very happy to see our Kashmiri Pandit brothers and sisters with us today. Our aim is to facilitate their rehabilitation and help them return to their original homes,” he said.

Qureshi also extended his gratitude to the district administration for ensuring smooth arrangements during the festival. He specifically thanked SSP Handwara for overseeing the security and other necessary preparations at the Bhadrakali Mandir.

The visit highlighted efforts towards communal harmony and the government’s commitment to the safe return and rehabilitation of displaced Kashmiri Pandits.
