Addressing a high-voltage rally in Birbhum during the West Bengal Assembly Elections campaign, Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched a strong attack on the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) over border security issues.
He alleged that the state government is not cooperating with the Border Security Force (BSF) in facilitating land for fencing along the international border.

Amit Shah said, “TMC is not giving land to the BSF for border fencing,” accusing the state administration of hindering national security efforts.
He further assured that the situation would change swiftly if the BJP comes to power in the state.

He emphasised that strengthening border infrastructure would be a top priority for the BJP government.

In a hard-hitting statement, the Home Minister also vowed strict action against illegal immigration.
“We will remove illegal immigrants not only from West Bengal but from the entire nation,” he said, highlighting the issue as a key election plank.
