Naam Foundation, Nirmala Gajanan Foundation Donate Two Ambulances to Uri Civil Administration

Uri, Baramulla: In a significant step towards strengthening emergency healthcare services in Jammu and Kashmir’s border region, Naam Foundation and Nirmala Gajanan Foundation on Friday donated two ambulances to the Civil Administration in Uri. The initiative, coordinated with the support of the Indian Army, aims to ensure faster medical assistance for residents living in border areas.

The ambulances were formally handed over by Mr. Manzoor, representing Naam Foundation and Nirmala Gajanan Foundation, to Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Uri, Prince Kumar, in the presence of Indian Army officials and the Block Medical Officer (BMO), Uri.

Speaking on the occasion, a spokesperson for Naam Foundation said the donated ambulances would help reduce delays in providing emergency medical care and play a crucial role in saving lives in remote border villages.

The Civil Administration expressed its gratitude to both foundations and the Indian Army for their contribution and assured that the ambulances would be deployed efficiently to improve healthcare services and benefit the local population.

The event was attended by Commander, Kalapahar Brigade, Brigadier Nithin Kuttapa, the Commanding Officer of Kaathi Battalion, along with senior officials from the civil administration and the health department of Uri Tehsil.
