Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut intensified his attack over the alleged Ram Mandir donation controversy, demanding the arrest of several individuals whom he claimed were linked to the alleged irregularities in Ayodhya.
Speaking to reporters in Mumbai, Raut alleged that authorities had acted only against minor accused while failing to take action against those he claimed were the main beneficiaries in the case.
Raut Seeks Arrest of Trust-Linked Individuals
Calling for a wider investigation, Raut named several individuals and urged investigating agencies to take action against them.
He said, “First of all, arrest Champat Rai. Arrest Anil Mishra. Arrest Gopal Rai. Arrest whoever purchased land there and sold it to the trust. Arrest the Mayor of Ayodhya. You have only arrested small fish.”
Calls Alleged Scam a Betrayal of Lord Ram
The Shiv Sena (UBT) leader alleged that the investigation should focus on those responsible for the alleged misuse of funds connected with the Ram Temple.
Continuing his remarks, Raut said, “These people have looted the Ram Temple. This is the biggest act of treason against Ram and against the nation…”
