NDA Passes Resolution on Operation Sindoor, Salutes Armed Forces and PM Modi’s Leadership

New Delhi: A resolution on Operation Sindoor was unanimously passed during the NDA Parliamentary Party Meeting on Monday, marking a strong expression of solidarity with the armed forces and appreciation for the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The resolution stated, “The NDA Parliamentary Party salutes the unmatched courage and unwavering commitment of our armed forces, who showed heroic valour during Operation Sindoor and Operation Mahadev. Their courage highlights their unflinching devotion to protecting our nation. We pay our deepest condolences and respect to those who lost their lives in the Pahalgam terror attack.”

Further, the resolution lauded the exceptional leadership of Prime Minister Modi, stating, “His unwavering resolve, visionary statesmanship and resolute command have not only steered the nation with purpose but also ignited a renewed spirit of unity and pride in the hearts of all Indians.”

Highlighting India’s post-operation diplomatic efforts, the resolution added that after Operation Sindoor, the Prime Minister ensured 59 Members of Parliament from across parties visited 32 countries to present India’s point of view. The outreach was described as “one of the most comprehensive global outreach ever launched by India,” demonstrating how the country has been a victim of terror and underscoring the message that “a terror attack in any one part of the world is a crime against humanity across the globe.”

The resolution also noted the participation of Opposition MPs, calling it a sign of the “maturity of our democracy and the statesmanship of the Prime Minister, who believes that in matters of national interest, we are all together.”

In a significant diplomatic achievement, the resolution acknowledged the US designating The Resistance Front (TRF) — the group responsible for the Pahalgam attack — as a Foreign Terrorist Organisation (FTO) and Specially Designated Global Terrorist (SDGT). It also highlighted the BRICS Joint Declaration condemning the Pahalgam attack and affirming “zero tolerance for terrorism and rejecting double standards in countering terrorism.”
