Srinagar: Acting on an attachment order issued by the Additional Sessions Court, Handwara, the Handwara police have attached 3 Kanals and 12 Marlas of land, valued in lakhs, belonging to two Pakistan-based terror handlers.
The properties belong to one Tahir Ahmad Peer, son of Shamus-ud-din Peer, resident of Badrah Bala, Qaziabad and one Mohammad Ramzan Ganie, son of Mohammad Abdullah Ganie, resident of Ganapora, Qaziabad.
The action was carried out under Section 88 Cr. PC (83 Central) in connection with FIR No. 73/2011, registered under Sections 2/3 of the EIMCO Act and 121A of the RPC at police station Kralgund.
During the course of the investigation and inquiry, the properties were identified as belonging to absconders linked to terror-related activities. This decisive action underscores the commitment of Handwara police to combating terrorism and taking stringent measures against anti-national elements.
