Srinagar: The JK Bank Magam, in collaboration with block Magam, organized a program titled “Campaign for Jan Suraksha Scheme” (CJSS) on Monday at Magam Higher Secondary School (MHSS). The event aimed to raise awareness about various welfare schemes introduced by JK Bank for the benefit of the public.
The program witnessed the participation of prominent dignitaries, including Tariq Ahmad Jhan, Lead District Manager (LDM) of JK Bank, Showkat Ahmad Dar, Manager of JK Bank Magam, and Sajad Ul Ashraf, Advance Head. Officials from block Magam and ICDS workers were also present, contributing to the program’s success.
The event was graced by the presence of notable social activists, including Dr. Sheikh Jamsheed, a social peace activist from Jammu and Kashmir, and Mohammad Shafi Mir, a renowned social worker, who emphasized the importance of public participation in such welfare initiatives.
During the program, the speakers elaborated on the Jan Suraksha schemes, including their objectives and benefits for various sections of society. The campaign focused on financial inclusion, social security, and the empowerment of marginalized communities through schemes like Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY), Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY), and Atal Pension Yojana (APY).
The event concluded with an interactive session where attendees had the opportunity to address their queries regarding these schemes. JK Bank representatives assured their continued commitment to public welfare through innovative banking solutions and community outreach programs.
The initiative was appreciated by participants, with many acknowledging the efforts of JK Bank Magam and block Magam in fostering financial literacy and ensuring access to welfare programs.
