YCSK holds a day long mental health awareness program was held at GDC Handwara

Srinagar: A day long Mental Health Awareness Program was recently organized at the auditorium hall of Government Degree College (GDC Handwara), Handwara, in collaboration with Youth Civil Society Kashmir (YCSK) and the college itself.

The event was graced by Additional Deputy Commissioner Handwara, Aziz Ahmed Rathar, as the chief guest. Other notable attendees included the Principal of Government Degree College, Ghulam Rasool Ganaie, ASP Handwara Zafar Hussain, DySP Headquarters Dr. Majid, and Medical Superintendent of GMC Hospital Handwara, Dr. Ijaz.

During the program, the speakers highlighted various aspects of mental health and discussed related topics of importance. The session also included an interactive question-and-answer segment with the students of the degree college.

Speaking to the media, the event organizers expressed their commitment to holding more such programs in the future to raise awareness about mental health.
