Srinagar: On the momentous occasion of the 25th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas, Ashutosh Army Goodwill School, Budkot Handwara had organized an inter-school quiz competition, celebrating the spirit of victory and patriotism.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from eight schools across the districts of Kupwara and Baramulla.
The lively quiz competition was hosted by well-known quiz master and an Indian Army veteran Colonel Vembu Shankar, a Shaurya Chakra awardee, who kept the participants and audience, engaged with his wits and knowledge.
The event was graced by the esteemed presence of various eminent dignitaries of civil administration and principals of various schools and colleges.
In a thrilling competition AIIMS School Handwara emerged as the winners.
The young and talented participating students from all eight schools showcased exemplary cognitive ability and competitive spirit, making the event a grand success. The competition not only commemorated the valour of our soldiers but also provided a platform for the budding minds of North Kashmir to exhibit their knowledge and foster a sense of camaraderie and competitive spirit.
