Punjabi actress and singer Nisha Bano recently found herself at the center of swirling rumors regarding her alleged marriage to renowned singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh. A viral photo circulating on social media depicting Nisha dressed as a bride alongside Diljit sparked widespread speculation, with many claiming that the two were married and even had a son together.
However, taking to her official Instagram account, Nisha Bano swiftly put an end to the speculation, clarifying that she is not married to Diljit. In a candid post shared on Friday (March 22), Nisha addressed the rumors with a touch of humor, stating, “Hahahaha koi menu v puchlo, mai ave hi wife bnati (Hahaha, someone should ask me too, I would have become a wife by now).” She emphasized that while the news had gone viral, she is actually the wife of Sameer Mahi, a fact known to those in the Punjabi entertainment industry.
Sharing screenshots of articles perpetuating the marriage rumors, Nisha highlighted the widespread misinformation and urged people to verify facts before making assumptions. Despite the rampant speculation fueled by the viral photo, Diljit Dosanjh has remained silent on the matter, refraining from addressing the reports surrounding his alleged marriage.
The rumors were further fueled by an old interview of Bollywood actress Kiara Advani, where she hinted at Diljit having a child during promotions for their film “Good Newzz.” However, neither Diljit nor Nisha have confirmed or commented on these speculations.
Meanwhile, Diljit Dosanjh is busy with his upcoming projects, including the eagerly awaited film “Crew” alongside Kareena Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Tabu, set to release on March 29. Additionally, he has Imtiaz Ali’s “Chamkila” with Parineeti Chopra, slated to premiere on Netflix on April 12.
As the rumors continue to swirl, both Nisha Bano and Diljit Dosanjh remain focused on their respective careers, leaving fans and the media to speculate about their personal lives.
