Handwara: Its rightly said that “youth of today, are leaders of tomorrow”. It is a matter of immense pleasure and joy to envision the youth of the Kashmir taking these budding steps to become valuable members of our society.
Be it the field of sports, art and culture, science and technology, or be it serving our nation by being a part of our security forces, the youth of Kashmir has become the epitome of success and inspiration for the entire nation.
In a novel attempt to captivate and hold the hand of the valleys youth, Indian Army’s Naugam Brigade, organised career counselling program. An exciting and inspiring carnival which turned out to be not just a regular event being conducted by the Indian Army, but a mission that envisioned to reach out to every young mind of the valley.
A mission which proclaimed that its about time that we realise the power and capabilities of our youth and help them direct that energy onto a path which not just benefits the country but also prepares them to lead the future generations.
This unique and distinctive program was charged with a plethora of events to include an aptitude test followed by career guidance talk.
Career counsellors from books my tute had come to deliver, share and induce their ideas and thoughts amongst the Kashmiri youth.
The programme started by a brief talk given by Mr Amit Goyal followed by a talk given by Mrs Taru.
Thereafter the students were left for aptitude test to use their logical and analytic thinking to give the best results. This serene valley of Mawar, which often suffers from isolation from the Kashmir’s mainland came together in an unprecedented manner to celebrate the power of our youth.
This unique and sincere effort by the Indian Army not just brought the hearts closer but served as a strong bridge between the security forces and the Kashmiri Awam.
