The investigation into the sudden and mysterious death of singer Zubeen Garg in Singapore has taken a dramatic turn, with authorities arresting his cousin, Sandipan Garg, who also serves as an Assam Police Service (APS) officer, according to India TV sources.
Zubeen Garg, renowned across Northeast India and beyond, died on September 19 while swimming in Singapore. He had traveled to the country to attend the 4th NorthEast India Festival, an event organized by Shyamkanu Mahanta and his company, showcasing cultural and musical talent from the region.
The arrest of Sandipan Garg comes as Singaporean investigators delve deeper into the circumstances surrounding Zubeen’s death, raising fresh questions about the events leading up to the tragedy.
