WhatsApp, the popular instant messaging platform owned by Meta, is reportedly developing a new feature aimed at enhancing user experience by automating the generation of monthly reports for both accounts and channels. This feature, once enabled, will provide users with valuable insights into their account and channel activities without requiring manual intervention.
The discovery of this upcoming feature was made by WABetaInfo, a reliable source for WhatsApp-related updates and features. According to the report, the automated monthly reports will offer users a convenient way to stay informed about their account and channel metrics, eliminating the need to manually initiate the reporting process each time.
“Users won’t have to remember or manually initiate the process each time they want an update on their account and channel activities. This automated feature ensures timely delivery of relevant information without any user intervention, saving time and effort,” stated the report.
In addition to providing insights into account and channel activities, the new feature will also enable users to easily track changes in their account information by comparing monthly reports. This functionality adds another layer of convenience and utility to the feature, allowing users to monitor their WhatsApp usage more effectively.
While the feature to automatically generate account reports is currently under development, it is expected to be rolled out in a future update of the WhatsApp application.
