New Delhi: As the Delhi government nears its 100-day milestone under Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, the administration is preparing to present a detailed report card to the public, highlighting achievements and progress made since taking office. The report is expected to be released on May 31, a day after the government completes its 100 days on May 30.

“The Delhi government is working 24*7 in these 100 days. When our government completes 100 days on the 30th May, we will also hand over our report card to the public on the 31st… We will give details of all the work we have done,” said Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, underscoring her administration’s commitment to transparency and accountability.

A key area of focus has been tackling the city’s longstanding issue of waterlogging. Gupta emphasized that the situation in Delhi this monsoon has been significantly better compared to previous years. “Delhi was battling the problem of waterlogging for years, but this time, even after three record-breaking rains, the situation in the city was under control, and the water drained out within an hour,” she said.

The CM attributed the improvement to unprecedented desilting efforts, calling them “historic,” and promised further action in the coming weeks. “The amount of desilting that has happened in Delhi is historic… It will be completely cleaned in the coming days,” she added.

On the public health front, Gupta addressed rising concerns about COVID-19, assuring residents that the administration is fully alert and prepared. “The government has taken full cognisance of the COVID cases. Our hospitals are fully prepared, there is no need to panic. We are keeping an eye on the situation,” she said, urging calm while stressing the state’s readiness.
