Shiv Sena leader and Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Raut took a dig at Maharashtra and West Bengal governor by saying that in the entire country there are only two governors. Talking to the media, Raut said, “Nowadays, there are only two (places) governors in the entire country, West Bengal and Maharashtra. I do not know where other governors are”.
Recently Maharashtra governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari wrote a letter to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and asked him to open religious places. However, in reply to the letter Uddhav slammed Koshyari and wrote I don’t want to learn Hindutva from anybody.
This turned into a political fiasco and even NCP chief Sharad Pawar backed the CM.
BJP in state is trying every possible way to open religious places, but state government due to rise in corona cases in not granting permission to them.
