“Warrior of Social Justice Arrives in Bhopal”: MP Congress President Jitu Patwari Hails Rahul Gandhi’s Visit

Bhopal: Congress MP Rahul Gandhi’s visit to Bhopal on Tuesday has been described as a “historic moment” by Madhya Pradesh Congress President Jitendra (Jitu) Patwari, who hailed the event as a milestone in the country’s political journey and a new chapter in the fight for social justice.

“This is an important day in the history of Indian politics. We are fortunate that Madhya Pradesh got this opportunity,” Patwari said, welcoming Gandhi’s arrival with enthusiasm and reverence. He praised Gandhi’s role in championing the caste census — an issue that has reignited debates on representation and equity nationwide.

“As the hero of caste census, Rahul Gandhi raised a new voice in the country. PM Modi and BJP had to agree to his point despite refusing,” Patwari added, asserting that Gandhi’s persistent advocacy compelled the ruling establishment to acknowledge the demand for a caste-based census.

Highlighting the significance of Gandhi’s presence in Bhopal, Patwari said, “It is a matter of good fortune for us that the warrior of social justice, Rahul Gandhi is visiting Bhopal today with the aim of starting the creation of the organisation, laying the foundation stone… Today is going to be a very important day.”
