Vishal Mishra shares his past love experience in his latest VYRL original song AAJ BHI; Starring Ali Fazal and Surbhi Jyoti

Vishal Mishra, the multitalented singer-songwriter brings to you an emotional song with VYRL Originals that bespeaks his personal experiences in his latest release. Aaj Bhi is a very strong emotional, lyrical and musical journey put together by Vishal Mishra who has sung, composed, & written this song. The music video, starring Bollywood & TV bigwigs Ali Fazal & Surbhi Jyoti & directed by Gurmmeet Singh (of Mirzapur fame), beautifully brings alive the familiar bittersweet memories between two former lovers when they accidently meet each other after a long time.

Every relationship has a story behind it and not necessarily a perfect one. The song is dedicated to everyone who has ever been in a relationship, moved on respectfully and yet continues to reminisce that someone special very fondly. While many relationships may not have the quintessential perfect ending, these relationships do make us the people that we are today. This heart touching song and video is bound to take you down the memory lane and leave you teary-eyed for that special someone.

Sharing his first experience with VYRL Originals and working on Aaj Bhi, Ali Fazal shared, “Honestly, it’s weird as I have never been this excited for a music video and I think this is because there is something very genuine about Aaj Bhi. And Vishal with his soulful and power-packed voice has already taken it to a level where I thought I couldn’t do anything, but I think somewhere it comes together beautifully with Gurmmeet’s direction. We had to show 2 different lives, I think that was the biggest challenge for us as we had to bring out these small nuances that I was trying to focus on as it’s difficult, to sum up the entire life in a few mins in a song. Aaj Bhi will remind us about that one ex who has meant a lot to us, and been there in our lives and made big differences. There is a huge part of us made up of these little fragments as we move along in life and I hope that people can have this conversation now that the song is finally out! This was my the first time working with Surbhi Jyoti, Vishal Mishra, and with the entire team of VYRL Originals and Universal and it was a wonderful experience. And from their previous reputation and work, I believe it’s a very cool platform and I am really looking forward to this association.”

About Vishal Mishra:

Vishal Mishra is an Indian music composer and singer. Starting his journey and chasing his dreams through a reality show the singer composer enhanced his craft under the guidance of maestro Lalit – Pandit. About Ali Fazal:

Born in Delhi and raised in the city of Lucknow, he is amongst the few Indian artists to be a part of the Oscar Academy Class. He was cast for the role of Trinculo in the play “The Tempest” written by William Shakespeare, where he discovered his passion for acting. Ali’s debut film as a lead was “Always Kabbhi Kabhi” produced by Shah Rukh Khan. From a Cameo in “3 Idiots” to another in the international saga “Fast and Furious 7”, he has only gotten finer by the day! The audience has seen him transform from the innocent boy next door with a guitar in Fukrey and Fukrey Returns to a macho, angry, small town gangster in Mirzapur. He starred opposite Dame Judi Dench in the British biographical comedy-drama film titled ‘Victoria and Abdul’. Surbhi Jyoti started her career in regional theatre and films & worked extensively in Punjabi Language films as well as in Punjabi Television series. She gained popularity in the Indian television industry after her role of Zoya in Qubool Hai which aired on Zee TV. The actor also won several awards for her role in the show. Surbhi Jyoti is currently essaying the role of Bela in the show Naagin 4. The actor made her film debut with Punjabi movie IkKudi Punjab Di which released in 2010.
