UP CM Yogi Adityanath Mobilizes Relief for Flood-Hit States, Flags Off 48 Trucks to Uttarakhand, Himachal and Punjab

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday announced significant relief efforts for states affected by floods and cloudbursts, mobilizing resources to support affected populations in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Punjab.

Addressing the media, CM Adityanath said, “I have just flagged off 48 trucks from here for Uttarakhand, Himachal, and Punjab to provide relief to the people affected by floods and cloudbursts. We are also sending Rs 5 crore each from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund from the Uttar Pradesh government to support the Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh governments in relief work.”

The relief consignment includes essential food, water, medical supplies, and emergency equipment, ensuring immediate assistance reaches disaster-stricken areas. The Chief Minister emphasized that the Uttar Pradesh government is committed to extending support beyond state borders and assisting neighboring regions during natural calamities.
