New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah convened a crucial high-level meeting today to review the security situation in Manipur, which has been grappling with ethnic strife since May 2023. The meeting, held at North Avenue in the national capital, marked the first such review after the imposition of President’s Rule in the state earlier this year.
The meeting, which began at 11:00 am, was attended by Manipur Governor Ajay Bhalla, senior state government officials, and top representatives from the Army and paramilitary forces.
