Sevagram, Wardha: Mounting a severe attack on the BJP government, organisational General Secretary of the AICC, KC Venugopal said that under the BJP’s rule, the very ‘Idea of India’ is in danger.
In his concluding speech at the training camp at Sevagram, Venugopal further said, that they have stopped following the path that was paved for India. Party’s elders did not fight the independence battle for their benefit.
If the idea of the Congress is understood, its ideology is taken to the grassroots and if the bond between the public and the Congress party is not disrupted, no one can defeat us.
He further said, The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has miserably failed to run the government. Under this government, inflation has skyrocketed and there is a brewing discontent among the people. We should raise awareness regarding these issues among the public. The government is trying to divide the country in the name of religion.
In his speech to the party workers and leaders, Venugopal said that the organization will not grow without the hard work of the workers.
Equality, brotherhood is the idea of Congress and this should be taken to the public. As the BJP and the RSS are afraid of Rahul ji, they are constantly running a campaign to discredit him. They are aware that Rahul Gandhi is the strength of the Congress and so the BJP is running a campaign every day to discredit him.
The Nehru-Gandhi family has never discriminated in the name of caste religion and has given equal respect to all.
This training program aims to build new leadership, to bridge the gap between the leaders and people. Such training programs will play an important role in re-strengthening the Congress organization.
