Mumbai: Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray has responded to the latest allegations in the Disha Salian case, calling it a continued effort to tarnish his image. His remarks come after Disha’s father, Satish Salian, filed a petition in the Bombay High Court seeking a fresh investigation into her death and naming Thackeray among others, demanding an FIR against them.
Addressing the media, Thackeray said, “There has been an attempt to defame me for the past five years. The matter is in court, and we will address it there. Whatever happens, will happen.”
Disha Salian, a celebrity manager, allegedly fell from a high-rise building in Mumbai on June 8, 2020, days before actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. While Mumbai Police initially ruled out foul play, the case has remained under public and political scrutiny.
