Srinagar: In continuation with the Taare Zameen Par series, a Planetarium workshop was conducted under the aegis of the Army Goodwill School (AGS), Budkoot.
The workshop was attended by 330 students which included six teachers from various schools to include (AGS) Budkoot, AGS Chandigam, AGS Krasool and Rafiabad public school.
A total of six shows of 28 minutes each were aired for the students. The people of adjoining areas of Handwara greeted the army’s 21Rashtriya Rifles (21 RR) for these kind of programs they said these kind of programs will help their children better in future
The students were awestruck to witness such workshops. They later demanded having such shows for them frequently.
Taare Zameen Par (Stars on Earth) is a 2007 Bollywood film produced and directed by actor Aamir Khan. The film explores the life struggles of Ishaan (Darsheel Safary), an eight year old Dyslexic (Learning Disability) child. Although he excels in art, his poor academic performance leads his parents to send him to a boarding school. There Aamir Khan who plays the role of an art teacher understands the problem and brings about a complete change in the academic and overall performance of Ishaan.
