SPO Farhat Gulzar brings honour and laurels for J&K police as he bags silver medal in judo in all-India police games

Srinagar: Farhat Gulzar from Kupwara Police has brought great honour to the Jammu and Kashmir Police (J&KP) by earning a silver medal in judo at the All-India Police Games.

Farhat Gulzar who is a Special Police Officer (SPO) from Kupwara Police has achieved remarkable success at the All-India Police Games, held in Guwahati and hosted by Assam Police from June 24 to June 30 this year.

Special Police Officer, Gulzar earned a silver medal in judo, demonstrating exceptional talent and dedication. This impressive accomplishment not only brings personal pride but also positively reflects on the Jammu and Kashmir Police. Now, he has been selected to participate in the World Police and Fire Games (WP&FG), set to be held in California, USA, in February 2025.

During a ceremony at the District Police Office (DPO) Kupwara, Farhat Gulzar was honoured with an appreciation certificate for his outstanding achievement.
