Srinagar: Superintendent of Police, Sheema Nabi Qasba, presently posted as Superintendent of Police Handwara (PD), brought laurels for the entire police force of Jammu and Kashmir as she has been awarded Chief of Army Staff Commendation and GoC-in-C Commendation.
Sheema is the lone police officer in the entire country who has been awarded with elite Chief of Army Staff Commendation in 2022.
The notification in this regard has been issued by the Union Ministry of Defence wherein the name of Sheema Nabi Qasba figures at serial number 401 and she is the lone cop in the entire country to have received this elite felicitation from the Indian Army.
Alongside, Sheema has also been awarded GoC-in-C Commendation along with Inspector Sameer Jillani for this pivotal role on counter insurgency and other security fronts in Rajouri district when Sheema Nabi Qasba posted District SP while Inspector Sameer Jillani was SHO Rajouri
