One such initiative is the Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC) conducted by the 1st J&K Battalion National Cadet Corps (NCC), Srinagar, at the NCC Training Academy, Nagrota, from September 2 to September 11. The camp has attracted 468 cadets from across the region.
As part of the camp, 51 cadets are participating in a specialized “Smartphone Filmmaking” course from September 5 to September 9, led by Amjad Jami, a distinguished director from the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune. Amjad Jami, a visual communication expert with over 35 years of award-winning experience, is guiding the cadets through the nuances of smartphone filmmaking.
