“Sadak Par Ladkiyaan Chhedte The”: Rabri Devi’s Explosive Allegation Against Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary

Patna: As the countdown to the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 begins, the political battlefield in the state is already simmering with intense clashes. On Friday, RJD leader and former Chief Minister Rabri Devi made a sensational allegation against Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, accusing him of misbehaving with girls in his younger days.

Speaking to the media, Rabri Devi said, “Bachpan se hum dekhe hain unko… Boring Road pe ladkiyan chhedte the. Sadak par baith jaate the ladkiyon ko dekhne ke liye. Ab woh Deputy Chief Minister ban gaye hain. Aisi harkatein karne wale ko deputy banaya hai BJP ne.”

The shocking remarks have triggered a fierce backlash from the BJP camp, while also fuelling an already tense atmosphere in Bihar’s political corridors.

Alongside her personal attack, Rabri Devi also targeted the state government over the CAG (Comptroller and Auditor General) report, which flagged Bihar’s failure to submit utilisation certificates for projects worth ₹70,877 crore.

“Yeh corruption hai. Bihar ki sarkar aur kendra sarkar dono ismein shamil hain. 2014 ke baad jab Narendra Modi PM bane, tab se desh mein ghotale ho rahe hain,” she said.

Earlier this week, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar lashed out at Tejashwi Yadav, stating that the JDU-RJD alliance broke due to RJD’s poor performance in government. Tejashwi had questioned the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, calling it a conspiracy to manipulate voters ahead of the election.

Nitish Kumar interrupted him in the Assembly, saying, “When you were young, your father remained Chief Minister for seven years, and your mother for another seven. What was the situation then?”

As the Election Commission of India is yet to announce the dates for the Bihar Assembly elections, the political war of words continues to intensify—now taking a personal and highly controversial turn.
