Rs 100 cr will be given to Scheduled Caste entrepreneurs in a year: Dhananjay Munde

Mumbai: A review meeting was held on Saturday wherein, Social Justice and Special Assistance Minister, Dhananjay Munde discussed the issue of the nano, medium entrepreneurs and taken decision on the long waiting disbursement of the loans taken by the entrepreneurs and also to discuss the provision of margin money to 133 entrepreneurs Department of Social Justice’s plans for small scale industries

Social Justice and Special Assistance Minister, Dhananjay Munde have discussed the issue the concern officials and directed them to disburse the loan money for the small entrepreneurs and also decision on giving out the margin money at 12.98 percent to the 133 entrepreneurs from the Social Justice Department at the Ministry and the scheme for small entrepreneurs from the Social Justice Department.

“I will strive to provide Rs 100 crore to SC entrepreneurs in the coming year, out of which 133 entrepreneurs will be given a margin of Rs 12.98 crore in eight days. Also, a special financial package would soon be given to new entrepreneurs under the Stand-Up India scheme in collaboration with DICCI and Lidcom,” said Minister for Social Justice and Special Assistance Minister, Dhananjay Munde.

In the meeting decision on the margin money for 15 % margin was taken. Minister for Social Justice and Special Assistance, Dhananjay Munde discussed this issue and assured that the action will be taken soon and to disburse the loan money for the small entrepreneurs.

“The disbursement of the loan borrowed by the entrepreneurs was still pending due to the lockdown.  But in today’s meeting, Munde sir had assured to give the margin money of Rs 13 crore to 133 entrepreneurs in time of a week or two”, said Arun Dhaneshwar, Mumbai President, Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DICCI).

Further he said, “The schemes for the SC entrepreneurs were made under Stand Up India, under which people who have already borrowed loan but the loan amount is not disbursed and still they are paying the EMI for the loan. The delay in the disbursement took place due to election at that time and later due to lockdown due to Covid19.” said Arun Dhaneshwar, Mumbai President, and DICCI.

These entrepreneurs will be formed by creating a chain of services and production through entrepreneurs at the taluka level. In collaboration with DICCI, economic development schemes will be implemented for the Scheduled Castes and efforts will be made to uplift the economic and social status of the Scheduled Castes. Small scale companies like NOGA, MAIDC, BVG, A Store, Lidcom Shapi, and Le Dharavi presented their presentations in this meeting.
