RJD MP Mohammed Shahabuddin passed away due to Covid-19, informed Tihar Jail officials. Earlier the Tihar Jail refuted the claims of demise and said he was admitted in hospital and undergoing treatment.
Meanwhile, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar condoled the demise of former RJD MP Mohd Shahabuddin. “He was an MLA and MP from Siwan for a very long time. The CM says prays for his soul to rest in peace,” Nitish Kumar said.
