The Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra announced on Wednesday that the Ram Temple in Ayodhya is witnessing a daily average of 1 lakh to 1.5 lakh pilgrims. In response to the massive footfall, the temple trust has released updated guidelines for the convenience and safety of the devotees. These guidelines encompass the timing of darshan, entry and exit procedures, aarti schedules, and the necessity of an entry pass.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Ram Temple on January 22, leading the consecration ceremony in the presence of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Governor Anandiben Patel, and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat.
Since its inauguration, the Ram Temple has attracted a significant influx of devotees from various parts of India and abroad, drawn to the sacred site to pay homage and seek blessings.
The newly issued guidelines for visiting the Ram Temple include:
- Darshan Timings: Devotees can visit the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir for darshan from 6:30 am to 9:30 pm.
- Smooth Entry and Exit: The entire process from entry to exit after darshan is streamlined, ensuring a hassle-free experience within 60 to 75 minutes.
- Restrictions: Devotees are requested to leave mobile phones, footwear, purses, flowers, garlands, prasad, etc., outside the Mandir premises.
- Aarti Entry: Entry for Mangala Aarti at 4 am, Shringar Aarti at 6:15 am, and Shayan Aarti at 10 pm requires an entry pass. Passes can be obtained free of cost from the website of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.
- Pass Requirements: The entry pass requires details such as the devotee’s name, age, Aadhar card, mobile number, and city.
- No VIP Darshan: There is no provision for special or VIP darshan by paying fees. The temple management warns against any attempt to solicit payment for darshan, emphasizing that it is a scam.
- Accessibility: Rent-free wheelchairs are available in the Mandir for the elderly and differently-abled devotees.
These guidelines aim to enhance the pilgrimage experience for devotees while ensuring adherence to safety protocols and maintaining the sanctity of the revered site. As the Ram Temple continues to attract devotees in large numbers, the trust remains committed to facilitating a spiritually enriching visit for all pilgrims.
