Jaipur: In a stern warning to administrative authorities, Rajasthan PCC Chief Govind Singh Dotasra has instructed all Block Level Activists (BLAs) and party workers to visit the offices of every Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) tomorrow morning. Speaking to the media, Dotasra emphasised strict adherence to legal procedures while processing forms related to adding or deleting names in official records.
“All our BLAs and party workers have been instructed to go to the office of every SDM tomorrow morning. According to the rules, whenever any form is submitted, whether for adding or deleting a name, it must be displayed on the notice board and left for public waiting for the required period before any action can be taken. This is what the law prescribes,” Dotasra said.
The PCC Chief also highlighted irregularities in the ongoing process. “However, there are people who are not following the law. When 20,000 forms are being processed in a day, even though proper procedure is not being followed, it clearly violates the law,” he added.
